well, i did a bit of room remodel in the last few days...LOL i pulled up all the horrific carpet and left the bare concrete. i left a bit of the carpet in the room (mainly around my aquariums because I'm not going to go through all the hassle of moving them just to pull up a patch of carpet. I'll just pull it up when we move eventually. I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like before but here is a patch of what it did look like.

It's not 100% done, I'm still waiting for my dad to bring home some clear coat so the floor will look a lot better after that. then all I'll need to do is seal around where the drywall meets the floor. apparently the builder thought that the carpet would be enough to keep the bugs out. (they placed carpet and then put the drywall on top of it.)


hopefully this weekend I'll get the sealant and clear coat and when It's done I'll post another picture.

I'm just glad it turned out to be so easy. LOL, there wasn't padding to take out, and the glue deteriorated long ago so easy to pull up, and a good after effect.
